Dumpster Rental FAQ

Everything Macon customers ask before they book — sizes, permits, load rules, and scheduling. Anything not covered here is one phone call away.

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Macon, GA?
Pricing depends on the size you need, your location, and the type of debris. Every quote is flat-rate: delivery, your rental period, pickup, and disposal are included in one number. Call (478) 287-7693 with your job details and you'll have an exact price in about two minutes.
What dumpster sizes do you offer?
Five roll-off sizes: 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yards. The 10 yard suits small cleanouts and heavy material; the 20 yard is our most requested for renovations and roofing; the 30 and 40 yard bins handle construction and whole-home cleanouts. See dimensions on our dumpster sizes page.
How fast can you deliver?
Next-day delivery is standard across Macon and Bibb County, and same-day is often possible if you call in the morning. Surrounding Middle Georgia towns are served on scheduled routes.
How long is the rental period?
Our standard rental gives you enough time for a typical project, and extensions are available if the job runs long — just call before your scheduled pickup and we'll adjust it.
Do I need a permit?
Not if the dumpster sits on your own property, like a driveway or a job site. If it needs to sit on a public street or right-of-way, Macon-Bibb County may require a permit. Tell us where the bin will go when you book and we'll flag any permit question before delivery.
What can I put in the dumpster?
Household junk, furniture, renovation and construction debris, roofing, yard waste, and most appliances without refrigerant. Concrete, brick, and dirt are welcome as dedicated heavy loads in the right bin size.
What items are prohibited?
Hazardous waste is never allowed: wet paint, solvents, chemicals, asbestos, tires, batteries, fuel, propane tanks, and appliances containing freon. If you're unsure about an item, ask when you call — it's free, and it avoids disposal surcharges.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
We place bins carefully and can set protective boards under the rollers on request, so the steel never rests directly on your concrete. Tell us where you want it and we'll place it exactly there.
How full can I load it?
Level with the top rail. Loads mounded above the rail can't legally travel on Georgia roads, so anything above the line has to come off before pickup. Heavy materials like shingles or concrete may need to stay below the rail — we'll tell you the fill line when you book.
Do you serve areas outside Macon?
Yes — Warner Robins, Byron, Gray, Forsyth, Perry, Fort Valley, Milledgeville, and most of Middle Georgia on scheduled routes. Check the service areas page or call with your address.
How do I schedule a pickup?
Call us when the bin is ready, or let your scheduled pickup date stand and we'll come automatically. Either way, keep the area around the dumpster clear so the truck can hook it.
Can the dumpster be moved once it's placed?
Don't drag or move a bin yourself — it can damage the surface underneath and voids safe pickup. If a bin needs repositioning, call us and we'll send a truck.
